Private event inquiries
When you fill out a private event inquiry, whether through a Meta instant form, by email, or by phone, we collect:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Company, if you provide it
Preferred date
Estimated guest count
Occasion
We use this information to respond to your inquiry, to plan your event with you, to send you our private event packet and a quote, and to follow up about your event.
Email marketing
We also use email addresses you provide to us, including through private event inquiries, website sign ups, and in restaurant sign ups, to send marketing emails about Hunters and Gatherers, including menus, events, specials, and private event offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any marketing email, or by contacting us at info@hgdeland.com. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not stop emails about an event inquiry or booking you already have with us.
Website visits
Our website is hosted by Toast. When you visit hgdeland.com, Toast and our website tools may collect basic technical information, such as the pages you view, your browser type, and your device type. We use a Meta Pixel on the website to measure page views. That pixel may use cookies to help us understand how people reach our website. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Rewards sign up
If you sign up for rewards on our website by providing a phone number, that sign up is handled under the Toast terms and privacy statement linked on the sign up form, in addition to this policy. Message and data rates may apply to rewards messages. You can opt out of rewards messages by replying STOP, as stated on the sign up form.

We do not share private event inquiry information for advertising by other businesses.
How long we keep it
We keep private event inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, to plan your event, and to follow up after your event. If your inquiry does not lead to a booking, you can ask us to delete it sooner by contacting events@hgdeland.com. We keep marketing email addresses until you unsubscribe, and then we stop sending marketing emails to that address.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing events@hgdeland.com or info@hgdeland.com, or by calling (386) 279-0581. We will respond to reasonable requests and will ask for enough detail to find your inquiry.
